I'm in Love with....

I love my kid's bath time, it is so sweet and cute to watch them play together.

I'm in Love with her Shar Pei back, it's so Rollie and Wrinkley.

Adelaide just kicks back and lets Hudson do anything he wants to her!
I'm so glad one of us is chill about what he does to her.

Here kity....Kitty.

Did I mention we got a cat?
Cat Adelaide.
She truly is the best cat I have ever owned and by far the cutest one too.

My Mom got the girls a Cabbage Patch Kids for Christmas and oooh this makes my heart so happy,
I couldn't wait to open it and smell the baby.
(I know I'm a little weird)

Her name is Scout Shelly.
You will most likely be seeing her in a lot more picture cause not only does Adelaide love it, but so does Hudson. Hudson has been going through a "I'm a baby phase:)" but for some reason he has now just adopted baby Scout Shelly to be his baby. Whatever woks so that I don't have to watch baby Hudson do every thing in his power to have me look at every second, every minute on every thing he does .
Thank you Grandma Pasha Lady.

Reopen Dad's presents....Fun.

We reopen Dad's present just for you Hudson.
Since HP fell a sleep before the presents got opened, we decided to reopen them because Hudson was so excited to have Dad open them.

Chris is such a great actor.
So really I will never know if Chris really like something, cause he can put on a pretty good show twice!

Dad really know how to make it a party.

Even Adelaide got in on the fun.
We never want her to feel left out.

Chris turn 31 Happy Birthday Punkin.

 Happy Birthday Chris Heward.

Chris turned 31 this year.
I can't seem to wrap my head around it.
To me my husband is the same age as I meet him.
But man do I sure love this guy!!

It was a fun very small Birthday both sides of our families were out of town, so we didn't have a get together.
I still wanted it to be very special and show him how important he was.
He always tries to make my birthdays special, by get me breakfast in bed and decorating the house.
So I thought I would do the same minus the breakfast since he had to work in the morning and be out of the house by 5:30am, no way was I or could I have gotten myself out of bed by then (Not a morning person.)
So when Chris got home from work around 7 we decided the best place to go with kids for a Birthday dinner was none other then Pizza Factory .
We got there and couldn't believe how packed it was but we were determine to stay. We got seated really fast actually and while we sat and had a fun Birthday dinner the best thing happened, Hudson feel asleep on Chris lap. It was so sweet.

Then we came home and opened some gifts.
Hudson was asleep so it was just me, Princess Toots and the Birthday boy!

I LOVE YOU CHRIS HEWARD.

Out with that yellow, bring on the gold strips!!

I was getting the itch for something new, I swear it come every three months in my house.
So I was on Pintrest and I saw this,

and loved it. I mean look how happy she makes it, but I though "I'm not sure if it would go with my decor in my house. Then I thought "Who cares anything is better then the yellow." Then I thought "Oh what, if Chris doesn't like it?" But then I thought "Who cares, he will learn to love it." "Right?..."

 court and hudson blog
Had a pretty good tutorial on how they did it.
But I'm a total researcher and looked for even more tutorial on horizontal strips.
Like that's hard, thanks to Pintrest.
So I found another tutorial on strip and found that the used a laser leveler...Awesome, I love man tools!!!
I pretty much had the paint under the Christmas tree.
That was Chris' request to please wait until after Christmas to do this project of painting, the kitchen and front room.
Lets just say December dragged on for me since I got this idea stuck in my head the last week in November after all of the Christmas decorations were up. "Ughhhhh."
This project took place after
Adelaide and I  having the flu...
Me having a kidney infection...
Hudson having croup...
2 Days after Christmas...
and then when it was all said and done
Hudson got the flu, then my Mom's whole house flooded and she was out of town.
Lets just say it was one crazy and very busy December.

But am I ever so happy that I repainted the house white.
Then the bonus was the gold stripes, it makes me a very happy girl:)

Christmas Eve & Christmas Morning.

 12-24-2012
We had Christmas over at my Cousin Brooke's lovely home.. thanks to Brooke, she saved the family
Christmas party by letting us party over there.
I did offer my 800sqft apartment but I just got chuckling instead...how rude, what's wrong?
Know one wanted to sit on my bed and eat and be entertained!
If that was me I would have taken me up on the offer!

OK so I'm that cheesey mom that likes my family to match... Why not?
One day my kids won't let me and they will make fun of me for it..So I see it as a win win. They get memories to make fun of me and I get my matchy family for a couple of years.

 Don't we look entertained!
Don't worry it's coming ... the entertainment that is.
Just wait it's coming...
See we are staring to gather...
 ...
Oooh but wait, we had to leave before it started for our other family party.
I hate leaving a party as much as I hate missing a party it feels the same to me :(

Glad we went over to the Heward's to play some family fun games.
Quite the entertainment, I would say.

 Avery was that yummy???
That's what I thought... Speechless.

Hudson just trying on Uncle Dave's boots!
 Adelaide made a new friend!

 My little Special Christmas present.

I would have never even let Hudson touch this candy cane.
Funny how you start changing on the second baby, don't want to know what our last child will be eating.

My little man had just gotten over the flu, poor kid looked sick still.

Poor Adelaide, she gets smothered by HP, wait who am I kidding this little girl LOVES
her big brother more then anything.

Our First Christmas at the apartment.
Yes we will have lived here in the apartment for 9 year in August and
this is our first Christmas here.
We usually sleep at my Mom's and when my Mom and Dad divorced I told Chris we will never probably have a Christmas at our house.
I never wanted my Mom to wake up with an empty house.
But that all changed when she remarried Mark.
There has been a lot of BIG changes and we are all trying to embrace them with a smile... so far I think we have done well.
The hard thing is sometimes one person thinks things will stay the same and the other person is thinking it will be good to change things up a bite.
So I told my Mom our plan.
Then we made a new plan, she would come over before Hudson woke up so things wouldn't feel too weird and different And that's just what we did. I loved it.
It was like having best of both worlds.
The only problem was we were missing a few extra Family members.
I think it will be a tradition, it only makes sense, since Chris and I's family will only get bigger, making it harder to travel all the way to Santa Clara...jk but really it's kind of hard to make sure you have everything even if it's only a 10 minute drive.

It was so fun to have Hudson and Chris come down stairs.
I had played it through my head a gazillion times, since that was the one thing that was telling me it was OK that we were having Christmas morning at our apartment.

He was so cute he kept telling everyone Merry Christmas.

We kept it a small Christmas this year.
I've really wanted to make Christmas small and our Birthdays a bigger deal.
I want the true meaning of Christmas in our home.

I cant tell you how bad I hate all of the picture with me in them this Christmas...and I mean "Hate"
but I know it's important to show my kids that Mom was their too and not just behind the camera.
I wish my mom took more picture of her the good and the bad.
So here is for the bad :)

I love this picture of my mom and Adelaide soo much.
It melts my heart.
Then we were off to go to the Heward's to talk to our Missionary that's in Mexico.
We waited and waited to skipe at the time he said but there was no Elder Heward,
so we went and opened our Christmas presents.

Grandpa Hewy got this ship for Hudson.
What a grandpa :)

Grandma Hewy got this for Adelaide I was so excited for it.
Adelaide has been playing with boy stuff long enough.

Know we will see if she ever lets those fingers out to enjoy her new rattles!

Why Hello Miss Adelaide and HP

Boys will be boys.
Hudson got really quit so I went to go see what he was doing on my way in to the kitchen I heard Hudson say "yummy M,om Hudson's tummy likes it."
He was just eating all the cookies.
That's all.
While we talked to Uncle Connor

We Face Timed with Mikey and Chad while Skiping with Elder Heward.
Thank you technology.

Grandma Lady's and Grandpa Marks' here we come...

Hudson was very please with all his toys!
Man Oh Man, now I remember why we go small on Christmas cause grandparents make up for what we parents lack!

Really can we have gotten any luckier with Mark kids?... Nope!

Hannah favorite spot at Grandma's house... on Grandpa Mark.

And at the end of the day I feel very blessed to have these guys in my life .
