What a mess & lego's.

 8-15-2024

Chris and I go to Yogurtland once a week.

We’ve been doing this for a couple of weeks now, its a fun way to end are day.

But this one particular day.

I decided not to use my on magic shell and to try there magic shell

(;because I’m really into that right now …lol and I tried there's one time and it was waxie ughhh so that's why I usually have my own magic shell.)

 #angryyougartlandgods as Chris said.

So I went to put some on my ice cream and it must’ve been clogged because it went everywhere… I mean everywhere.

This is a more cleaned up version of me.

I had it all over my arms all over the floor. It shot behind me, almost hitting the table of people… Thank goodness it didn’t mess me.

Chris and I laughed so hard.

He said one minute he looked over at me. I look fine and the next time he looked back and I was covered in it.

This picture does NOT do this any justice.

I promise it was way worse!

Later on that night after we had gotten all of the kids into bed, I went to just go and give good night hugs and kisses and make sure everyone was in bed... this is what I walked into…Hp making Lego's.
Oh my heavens, while everybody else is in bed.
He’s making Legos (insert eye roll here.)
but I do secretly love it.

August 13th

So of course we have a lot of papers to go threw and sign.
This is my least favorite part of the second day of school.
I'm usually terable at signing and returning the papers.
The kids usually have to remind me a 1,000 times, but this year, that was not the case.
Thanks to my sweetheart, you made things easier this year
(note another reason, why I liked, us both being home the first week of school.)
...Thanks Chris!

I loved her little outfit and face, when we were dropping her off to school.
So I just had to get a picture!

Chris and I had a few errands, so of coarse after the Costco errand,
Chris and I went to CAL Ranch to see if they had Baby Chicks in.
I've been wanting them ever since we moved into our house, 8 years ago.
I would have probably gotten them by now, but I have a Brother Inlaw and sister Inlaw that have a homestead and that has made my obsession stop.
But every time I have to buy Costco eggs  AKA "The fake eggs" that what I call them.
that is... after I had the Heward Homestead eggs.
I only want fresh eggs.
(; note that I'm very grateful I can buy the Costco eggs too. ..but)

"I'm spoiled, I tell you, SPOILED!"

We saw this chicken coop and thought well maybe it would be easier to buy a chicken coop from C.R.
instead of building our own.
Then I thought not, after I checked on the price.
My sweetheart can build me a way cuter chicken coop for less money
... I think!
(The I think is more for the less money part because I Know Chris can build a cuter coop for me.)

Good old Pinterest has my thoughts racing on some chicken coops,
that I think would be way cuter.
Ps. look at all the colors of those eggs. yes please!!
Now let's see if we actually go through with it?
I told Chris that I'm buying baby chicks this fall...September!
The only thing that would get me to rethink the timing,
is our up coming trip in October.
So if not, then spring for sure!!!
To Be Continued....

 Adelaide started 7th grade.

                                                     Arilla started 5th grade.
Harrison stared 1st grade.

I have Not been ready for the kids to get back to school.
I feel like, did we even have a summer?

We usually go up to Idaho for half a week in the summer, but we didn't do that, this year.
Chris's Mom's side of the family had a family reunion... Hammer reunion.
(I had been married to Chris for 19 years and 10 months
before I went to a Family reunion... I know terrible.)
We enjoyed that a lot.

Other then that, we have had a weird summer, I've been working a lot (;While my Aunt is up at her Alaskan house I'm trying to fill in for her with her clients) and other family things going on that has had our mind occupied over this summer Break has taken up my mind.

The only good thing about school is, things are staring to feel a little normal.

Hudson: Enjoyed school not much to report, he liked all of his Teachers, and classes.
Hudson's Favorite part of school was...Lunch.
Adelaide: Was not the happiest of people (girl drama.) but in the end we found some positive stuff.  Adelaide's Favorite part of school was...Getting ready for school.
Arilla: Loved school loved her teacher and everything about the first day of school.
Arilla's Favorite part of school was...EVERYTHING!
Harrison: Liked school, liked his teacher.
Harrison's Favorite part of school was... Lunch.

We had are back to school dinner that night.
I felt unprepared but Chris and I pulled it off.
Chris and I both took the week off.
This is the week that the kids went back to school.
I hope we do this every year.
It was so nice to have Chris with me to drop the kids off and help out and to see how excited the kids get for there first day of school…it really was so fun to have him home.

After dinner we were able to go over some chores for the school year.
And The Best part of the evening was having Chris give the kids their Back 2 school Blessing.

I’m beyond great full that we have the priesthood in our home that Chris is able and willing to give these Blessing to our kids! Xoxo, Chris I LOVE YOU!!
Blessed!!
